You Have What You Need

Earlier today Elijah took a shower with me and he asked me what all I could do with my long arms. “They are so much bigger than mine!” I didn’t say anything and just thought on that for a while.
I noticed when he wrapped his towel around himself it was just the perfect size for him. My towel was bigger than his. My arms are longer and stronger, but I accomplished the same thing: I wrapped my towel around me. It is much bigger, but only because it is proportionate to my body.
What a beautiful example and reminder that we can’t look at those around us to see how big they are serving God or how “big” their lives look. What you have is exactly enough to accomplish what you are here for. Be glad for your brothers and sisters, but also be glad for yourself.
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭
