It can be scary and challenging to do this first part:
Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble. -Proverbs 13:20 (NLT)
For us to “walk with the wise” we have to make that decision for ourselves. We have to identify with ourselves as wise, seeking to be wiser. This can be scary because there will be days when we feel dumb and like we are never going to “get there” because these people seem to have it all together.
It is admitting we dont know all we need to, but we want to. That desire is what actually drives you and puts you right there with “the wise.” We sacrifice our pride to surround ourselves with those who bring us higher.
It is a worthy risk. It is an investment in yourself. You will not have a return without an investment. Are you willing to invest in yourself?
