When you are anxious, you have to let the anxiety pass before you can really appreciate your life. If you try to force the anxiety out by focusing on all the positives in your life, you welcome depression because all those good things won’t seem like enough. Anxiety numbs your other emotions, so focus on acceptance and awareness first, then you’ll find yourself naturally grateful again.
